PRANAYAMA CLASS
Prana is the life force; pranayama is the regulation of the breath to channel the life force in the body; meditation is sitting inside that force
1:15-2:45 at Art & Sou, $22 per class.
The class will include: Poses to open the body and quiet the mind, beginner pranayama to channel the energy and focus the mind, a brief meditation to conclude
Pre-registration and at least six months of yoga experience required

ASANA and MEDITATION Workshop
This class will work with dharana (concentration), and dhyana (meditation) in a series of supported postures held for 5-10 minutes. Holding the postures while focusing the mind on the breath brings about deep relaxation, quiets the mind, develops concentration and brings one toward a meditative state. This class is for all levels of ability.
1:15-2:30 at Art & Soul, $20 per class. Pre-registration required one week before class.


Gentle Yoga: for beginners and those who want a slower approach to the yoga poses.
Level l: for beginners and on-going beginner level students. This class explores the basic standing, seated, twisting, forward bending, simple backbending poses as well as beginning inversions.
Level II: for students with yoga experience and able to begin work on full backbends, handstands, headstands and pranayama.
